The Fat Duck has been voted Best Restaurant in the World by Restaurant magazine in 2005 and was awarded 3 Michelin stars. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 it was voted Best Restaurant in the UK. It is owned by chef Heston Blumenthal. The restaurant is known for its menu of unusual dishes, created following the principles of molecular gastronomy.

The tasting menu costs £160 per person, and consists of the following:

To be eaten while listening to ocean sounds from an iPod inside the shell. Raw tuna, halibut and mackeral.
